I started painting house portraits for fun in 2017 as a way to practice mastering perspective and architectural detail. While my family was preparing to sell my childhood home, our realtor noticed my sketches and asked to commission me for another listing. Since then, I’ve created portraits for homeowners, realtors, and business owners who want something more personal than a photo — something with heart. Each piece is a mix of careful detail and emotional memory, whether it’s a cozy home or a bustling storefront.

how it works

All I need is a reference photo, your preferred size, and the date you need it by. Most clients choose 8”x10” or 11”x14”, but I’m happy to work with other sizes, too.

Please allow at least 2 weeks for completion. If you need it sooner, a $30 rush fee applies to prioritize your order.

Reference Image Tips

A clear, high-resolution photo is essential — blurry or grainy images make it hard to see details like siding, trim, or brickwork, which affects the final painting. If you’re unsure about your photo quality, feel free to reach out for a free consultation.

Lighting + Angle Matter

The best reference photos are taken at a slight angle (not straight-on) and during early morning or late afternoon — when the light is strong, shadows help define the structure.

If you're local (within 5–10 miles of Midland, MI), I can take a reference photo for you!

Better reference = better painting.

I offer two main sizes — 8”x10” and 11”x14” — your painting comes matted, framed, and ready to hang the day you receive it Each painting is signed on the back with my tag on the front corner. I’m happy to deliver within 15 minutes of Midland, MI; shipping is available for an extra fee.
